CHM-PSS Training Coordinator Ms Tonje Tingberg from Norwegian Red Cross said the training sought to strengthen existing Red Cross health response units by focussing on a community level public health interventions, epidemic control, and disease prevention in the field. All with an aim to develop locally appropriate community outreach activities and to address the distress experienced by individuals and communities following a disaster.
