Chipawo is a theatre group that has been supported by the Norgwegian Embassy for the past two years. They have been filming their recent projects which is now screened on ZTV on Sundays at 1.15 pm and repeated on Mondays at 5 pm.

Last year when Norway commemorated the playwright Henrik Ibsen, Chipawo put up “Peer Gynt” and excerpts from “A dolls house” and other plays, touring around to major centres in Zimbabwe. After the tour, “A Dolls house” was implemented in the Zimbabwean school syllabus.
